Review the daily shelter reports published by the Animal Welfare & Enforcement Division, including intake numbers, animals placed, and euthanasia data.
These reports provide a snapshot of shelter activity and are an important tool for understanding trends, outcomes, and overall operations. Staying informed helps the community ask better questions and advocate for improved outcomes for animals.
The Gwinnett Animal Advisory Council plays a critical role in shaping policies and decisions that impact animals in our county’s care. Meetings are held quarterly, and community members are encouraged to attend — either in person or virtually. Public comment is typically offered at the end of each meeting, giving you the opportunity to speak, share concerns, and advocate for change.
Your presence matters. Even if you choose not to speak, showing up helps ensure transparency, accountability, and better outcomes for the animals.
