Bringing Animal Welfare Into the State-Level Conversation
GAAA identified candidates seeking Georgia House and Senate seats
representing Gwinnett County and began direct outreach to introduce
our organization, discuss animal-welfare issues, and establish
communication with candidates across party lines.
This page documents that outreach and candidate participation.
Candidate status will be updated as additional responses and
conversations occur.
This is a separate project from GAAA's Gwinnett County
Commission Candidate Survey and Candidate Pledge.
The County project focuses on policies and oversight within the
authority of the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners. This
project focuses on candidates for the Georgia General Assembly
and animal-welfare issues that may involve state law or state-level
policy.
