Why Separate County & State Elections?
County commissioners and state legislators have different powers and responsibilities. GAAA's election projects are designed around the authority of each office so candidates are asked about actions they could actually take if elected.
Candidate participation in GAAA's election projects, including responding to outreach, meeting with GAAA, attending a GAAA event, completing a Candidate Survey, or signing an Animal Welfare Candidate Pledge, does not constitute an endorsement by Gwinnett Animal Advocacy Alliance.
